Dr. Alana Green (Doctor of Chinese Medicine)

I was born in Melbourne and raised in a small country town in South Gippsland, Victoria. My interest in Chinese Medicine developed from observing the limited availability of integrative healthcare options in rural Victoria at the time.

I completed my studies at RMIT University and undertook an internship at Jiangsu Provincial Hospital in Nanjing, China in 2015. Over the past 9 years, I have gained experience practicing in various regions across Melbourne and rural Victoria.

My background in both metropolitan and rural settings has given me an understanding of the diverse healthcare needs within different communities.

I have experience working with clients presenting with various conditions including fertility and reproductive health matters, women's health, digestive concerns, autoimmune conditions, hormonal health, nervous system conditions, and musculoskeletal presentations.

Outside of clinical practice, I compete as an elite athlete in the Pole Vault discipline. I also organise community wellness events called "Yogapuncture," collaborating with other practitioners to offer yoga, community acupuncture and pilates workshop-style sessions around Melbourne.

My professional interest lies in the integrative healthcare approaches that combine traditional Chinese medicine with contemporary medical understanding.
